Hello, I was wondering if this is a good pc build to play most Steam games like rocket league, gmod, ark, kerbal, and cs:go as well as some AAA titles like Skyrim and Witcher 3 at 1080p 60fps. My budget is 750$.

This is my build:

cpu: Intel i5 4590

gpu: EVGA gtx 960 ssc 4gb

ram: Corsair Vengeance blue 8gb ram (2x4)

ssd: Kingston 120gb ssd v300

hdd: WD caviar blue 1tb hdd

case: Corsair Carbide 100r

psu: EVGA 600w

mobo: msi atx 2400 z97

Feel free to suggest any changes.

Total budget?

Also location?

Unless an absolute necessity I never recommend 120 GB ssd's, and the 380 is better than the 960. Likewise if in the US WD drives are overpriced.

Finally please follow your topics

You will probably be better off with a R9 380.

You'll obviously get over 60fps but considering your budget, you can get better parts for the same price. I'm assuming this is USD:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($165.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($71.89 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R9 380 4GB PCS+ Video Card  ($173.98 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($68.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $709.71
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-09-27 15:01 EDT-0400
Splurged more on a better quality PSU with higher efficiency and a better case

Splurged on much better SSD size and a better graphics card.

The XFX psu is nothing special, but it's certainly not bad by any stretch of the imagination.

Which brand r9 380 gpu?

Doesn't really matter. The Powercolor 4GB model is the most cost effective (I would stay away from the ASUS model) available so grab that, or look at what the build I posted does.

Is a Sapphire r9 280x any good?

Sure. I personally would take a 380 over a 280x, and a 290/390 over both when it fits in the budget, but it's not a bad option by any means.

Should I go for a sapphire r9 280x or a powercolor 380.

You should go with a 390 as my build link shows you can fit it with ease.
