Chosing my PSU

 So I'm upgrading my old pc. I have chosen every part but I need assistance choosing a PSU. This would be the build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/JohnnyX/saved/#view=tPbH99 

But I am from Argentina and prices differ from North America/Europe, so i'll list the prices in AR$ (Argentinian Pesos) which would be around $15 USD if someone is curious

 

I have two main choices:

 

XFX ProSeries Core Edition 550w $1250

EVGA 500w (100-W1-500-KR) $ 1150

 

I have also considered the 430w one from EVGA $850 and the Aerocool Vp550 550w $1000, too.

 

I want a power supply that can do the job without problems and if its silent its a +. Also here in Argentina the electricity system¿? (don't know how to say that) shuts off pretty often in summer and there are sporadic under loads ¿? of electricity so if its protected it would be great. I know the Evga ones are, but not sure of the other ones.

XFX - the EVGA B1 and G1 series are crap. Same for their NEX.

For EVGA - G2, GS, B2, P2

XFX are all SeaSonic rebrands so they are all good


EDIT: Aerocool are abysmal - avoid at all costs. EVGA 400W units are dreadful as well.

EDIT2: Just saw the "W1" in the EVGA name - if it's indeed the W1 version - avoid it like the plague - it's EXTREMELY low quality and you'd be better off with Diablotek

Based on what reason...? It's a pretty crap PSU and that XFX is a pretty amazing PSU, especially considering the price.

XFX all the way, Got that Seasonic build in there. based on a decent platform

 

EVGA like Corsair, Pretty good on the top end of PSU's but pretty crap on the bottom end. Just cause it has EVGA on it doesn't mean it's a good PSU.
