Computer Case Prototype Thoughts 10"X10"X7" max size

so right now I am prototyping a mini-ITX computer case that will end up no bigger than 10"X10"X7" will be able to fit 3 120mm fans a normal sized ATX power supply and upto a ~8.5" GPU but I need some thoughts.

Would you rather:

1) The looks of a case that is square (10"X10") or a smaller case that will fit a smaller GPU (R9 nano)?

2) A thicker case with ATX PSU compatability or a thinner case with a SFF PSU required?

3) 3 120mm fans or 2 120mm fans and an ODD slotarrow-10x10.png?

4) 10"X5.5"X14.5" 10"X10"X7" or 8"X5.5"X14.5"

The idea is a "console killer" case but as of the 7" thickness I may need to completely redesign the thing.

also please share any other thoughts

I am not going to say too much more as I don't want someone to steal the idea plus I am in very early prototyping stages so no real details yet.

Thanks Justin_

1) Smaller case designed around the Nano. The next gen cards will all follow the same shrink that the Fury cards did, might as well get ahead of the game.

2) Thinner with SFX-L PSU support

3) As little fans as possible with no ODD support

4) The thinner the better

I, too, am currently designing a small form factor case. Although I'm going to maximum power in the smallest space. I want to do something like you are when this is done, though.

Try laying the GPU down on top of the PCI-E slots. You will have to make a new mounting point and use a PCI-E extension, but you can make the case radically thinner by doing that.
