SO i just restarted my computer and it went into automatic repair mode. Help!!! no matter what i do, i just restored it, it won't boot into the OS. Please help, all help is appreciated!!!

boot the windows cd

and do a repair on the boot sector

and maybe the file system

and if that doesn't work...boot a linux cd...backup your data...then do a repair install on the OS

...make sure you got all your data...then do a clean install of the os

also i only have the windows 8.1 media, will that work on windows 10?

no

you will have to download the 10 iso ...burn it to a usb stick..then use that

OMG I JUST DID A SYSTEM RESTORE TO AN EARLIER DATE AND IT WORKED, THANK YOU SO MUCH
