Ok so im in the process of planning my first x99 build, which includes watercooling... the parts ill be cooling are an OC 5820k (4.5ghz) and 2 980ti HOF editions that i will be leaving stock as they are OC already.

The case id like to use is a corsair 450d or 750d, or air240 for a smaller build. Open to case recommendations, i like sleek looks like the 450d/750d and the build will be black and white

I got the 350D and I can tell you it was a pleasure to build in, I bet the 450D would be even better.

The recommended minimum is 120mm of rad space per component but more if you want silent cooling at load, I would probably say something like a 360mm or 420mm rad with an extra 240mm would be very sufficient in giving you good temps while being silent.

I would go with either the 750D or Fractal Design Define S. As for radiator space, 120mm of radiator space per component, so in your case, at least a 360mm radiator. However since you have the space, you could do a 360 + 240 or even a 360 + 360. I would highly recommend either the EKWB Coolstream XE series or the Hardwarelabs Nemesis GTX series.

Well i know in the 450d which i own alread i can fit a 360 on top and an 280 in front. So i assume the would be plenty then?

Yeah that should give you very good cooling while at load.

I would go with 750D, because I fitted 2 420mm radiators into that case and well cooled my dual 290X back the day.

With the 750d im just concerned that i wont get enough air flow in the front do to a solid front panel unlike the 450d which is a grated with mesh
