For $100?

A new mobo wouldn't change much. An SSD might be a waste with that CPU, and I don't know what you would get for $100 that would be more powerful than that GPU.

100 pounds, not dollars. If dollars that takes it to about $150/160

Well, the question is, what are you looking for? A new mobo won't increase performance (unless you're planning on upgrading to a new CPU down the road). An SSD might be a nice upgrade to make your system a little snappier overall.

A GPU would be what I went for, but I don't think 100 pounds is enough.

I'm new-ish to PC builds, I understand the perils of crap PSUs; but in what way would a better PSU help? Apart from maybe to 'future proof' for later upgrades?

More efficient, less likely to die and kill everything in your system (that's a brand thing, not power), etc. I go with SeaSonic for their ridiculous warranty.

For you to be able to upgrade anything else comfortable silly :P

An EVGA GS 650W is currently 85-90$ :)

Yeah the mobo would be for so I could upgrade the CPU/RAM at a later date.

A new mobo is not really that useful - it'll sit in a box and probably be obsolete by the time you get a CPU for it. Mobo, CPU and RAM are always bought together :)

Well, then that's not a bad idea. Still, new, more powerful GPU would be a good idea at some point, as well as an SSD.

750 ti 2gb retail at about 100 pounds now. But I'm not sure if that would make a massive difference to the 650 ti I have?

I wouldn't think it would be much of a difference. google it and see if the benchmarks show any huge difference?
