USB bottleneck?

cheking the mobo drivers......thanks for help so far

 

i understand that with usb 3.0 i cant reach 3.1 speeds ... sure .. but that seems like my old trusty USB 2.0 speed

says it right here

I recently bought a USB 3.1 stick and i have USB 3.0 Motheroboard and case... but still when i transfer files.. its just round 17MB/s ...USB legacy mode disabled and device manager performance settings enabled as well.... Any other ideas?

Have you checked for driver updates for you motherboard?

My guess it's unlikely that the USB can run at the full speed of USB 3.1

what model of USB is it?
