When I open chrome, I have (and I'm sure everyone else has) recently visited pages on the google home screen.  I was wondering if there was a way to disable this; I've searched through settings and I cannot find anything.  I'd rather not see these.

settings - on start up - open specific page and set the page you want it to open

it will still show the most visited pages when you opena  new tab though

google home screen, I'm not sure why you don't set the home page to google.com and just use bookmarks

I fixed this issue (by accident) and also did something good:

This extension raises something like .1 cents or more every time you open a tab, and you can configure it any way you want.

There will be some ads, though, mostly Amazon for me, but there won't be any frequently opened sites there.

If that's what floats your boat then good on you.

Even .1 of a cent is worth something to someone.

It's not a race to the bottom.
