I just built this PC last week and when i put it together and turned it on, i got a CPU fan error message. I noticed the CPU fan would not spin when it was in the cpu_fan slot on the MB. I then pluged in the cpu fan into the chasis fan slot and it spun at 2500RPM. I contacted asus and thought it was my motherboard but they said it was the cpu fan. I then contacted intel and they sent me a replacement CPU fan and i tried it and i only get about 1000-1300 RPM's on the fan. I did update my bios to latest version, tried the trick where you lower the lower limit fan speed, i also dont believe its my PSU because i have no random shutdowns. One this to note here is that the chasis fan works when i plug it into the CPU_fan slot but at about 900RPM's. PLEASE HELP!
