Hey all!

Been a while since I changed hardware on a machine without reinstalling the OS from scratch (back in the days of calling a number and having to input lots and lots of numbers to have some spat back at you), So I wonder if anyone knows if I change Mboard and CPU of a system and just plug the HDDs back without reinstalling, will windows work with it or do one need a new clean install nowadays?

Cheers

Its not something that came preinstalled on my system, I installed it myself. Cant remember of that means OEM or not (I think so?)

As in I built my computer myself and installed windows on it

It will say OEM on the cd-key sticker.

- CPU: Intel i7 3770 - GPU: MSI R9 390 - RAM: 16GB of DDR3 - SSD: Crucial BX100 - HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB -
