I have recently fit a cat6 cable into my house .... Just a quick question... My speed is 100.00 mbps is this ok ... My lan ports say gigabit lan ? Thanks

1Gbs is 100 Megabytes per second. I would say you have something wrong. Check your NIC and network gear.

That's different. ISP speeds are different to your LAN connection.

your network will only be as fast as the slowest device. If your computers LAN port is 1Gbit then your router must only have 10/100 ports.

if all your equipment is 1 gigabit(1000mbps) and your internet speeds are 100mbps so you're good. The throughput should be a 1 gigabit capacity as long as everything is capable of 1 gigabit.

Is that your download speed? On the local network, you should be at 1Gbps (1000Mbps), but download speeds will be dependant on your line in and your data plan.
