Graphics Card Problem?

TheSnelly

So I have recently upgraded my CPU (FX 8350) and but used the same GPU (GeForce GTX 750 TI). When I go on a game, I can play for around 10-15 minutes until my pc crashed and a white checkered pattern appears on the screen. What could the problem be and is there a fix? There is a picture added to show what the problem is. Any help will be much appreciated :)

FX CPUs don't have an IGP.

Try reseating the GPU.

It is a FX, no APU there.

check your temps, if they are getting high then look at cleaning out the cooler on your card or try getting more cool air to it.

since you've upgraded your cpu.

is it possible you're reaching power limits on your PSU?

My GPU is at 37c now. Is it possible that my GPU could be dying or completely fucked?

What you are seeing there is a form of artifacts. I used to have those on my R9 280X's with some crappy drivers. If you are using Beta drivers try downgrading to a Stable driver. If you are already using a stable driver try downgrading to an older stable driver.

Worked for me, hope it works for u!

I did all of the above and it worked for an extra half hour and when i checked about the drivers, it said that they were all up to date so i uninstalled them and redownloaded the driver and it still did the same

It is still doing it and I'm unsure why. I ave tried all of the suggestions that yous have said and it still does it, is it best to just get a new graphics card?

Your temperatures....Are they under load or idle?

1-Check the temps.

2-Try to test another GPU in your system and test your GPU in another system.

3-Check your PSU wattage.
