880m performance?

Hello, how are you?

I have the chance to get a laptop from a friend for a nice price.

It is a MSI 17 inch 1080p notebook with a GTX 880m 8gb GPU.

I don't really know laptop GPU, so I was wondering what desktop card offers the same performance at 1080p so I can have a comparison since I am familiar with desktop cards.

How does the 880m handle today's top games?

I think it should be somewhere between a 760 and 770. Not sure though

I was hoping for something a bit stronger than a 760...

I think it's more like a 770 - check the benches in the link above.
