So today I was rebuilding my PC after receiving a replacement motherboard. All was going fine, I connected all the cables correctly and it was time to boot up my PC. The LED power flashed for a brief second and then the PC powered off. I couldn't start the PC from then on. I had forgotten to connect power to my GPU so I thought that was the problem. After connecting the 8 and 6 pin cables, my PC still refused to boot.

I have already tried everything on the PC won't turn on thread.

Can someone help me?

Thank you!

1) Follow your posts. Helps you see when people comment.

2) Check your power button connection to mobo. It might be in the wrong spot and fried the board.

I can confirm MB is fried. Can someone please tell me if I should worry about my GPU or CPU?

You would need to have a very bad luck to fry your CPU and/or GPU, you could test them on another computer if you have access to it.

The stars died for you to be here today.

A locked bathroom in the right place can make all the difference in the world.
