Hey guys so recently my computer was running really slowly and the disk and memory were both running at 100% most of the time. I scanned and I removed a trojan virus but now the disk and memory are still at very high levels and the top thing on task manager seems to be "System". My computer is not running nearly as slow as when it had the virus but its definitely slower than usual. Any help would be appreciated.

Screenshot of Task manager is attached.

Thanks

In task manager goto the performance tab and click Open Resource Monitor, then in resource monitor goto the disk tab and expand Disk Activity so you can see the processes/paths being accessed. Sort it by Total (descending) and see which paths are being hit. Post a screenshot if possible and we'll help.

If possible go with Blackadder's suggestion of a rebuild just to be safe following the virus.

Also the windows Snip tool is useful for grabbing screenshots of just the area you want to share. Should be there if you type snip in the start menu search  :)

I just restarted my computer and it seems its back to normal so i could not get the screenshot but i do not believe it will stay this way. How would i uninstall windows? would lose all downloaded movies, documents and everything like that?
