I want to make a loop with 2 EVGA Geforce GTX 970 ACX 2.0+ and EK doesn't make one, only bitspower, so I was wondering if I could just mix match brands?

Should I just go with all bitspower products? If so is there any difference in quality or price? Let me know if you need anymore information!

Its not really the brands but the type of metal within those brands. As long as they fit, look great and they work whats the harm? I used ek and bitspower in my build.

Pricewise it depends on where you live. Quality is pretty much the same but thats just me.

If its that block, so should it be no problems with it. As long as you stay away from aluminum stuff.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

Sorry mate not sure about that one only thing I know is what the guy above said. Avoid aluminium. AFAIK I have all nickel on mine just to avoid any potential issues if ever. Pretty sure its on one of the pinned watercooling facts posted in this branch of the forum.

If I'm not mistaken doesn't these water blocks fit the 970 ACX 2.0 cards?

The Bitspowers block that OddsCrazyStuff link is good you don't need to have the same brands in a loop, the thing is for a loop is to avoid dis-similar metal setups like aluminum and copper, steel or zinc since they can cause corrosion without the proper fluids. The most common metals that are compatible together in a loop is brass, copper, nickel, stainless, which is what you will find for most components on custom loops. Just note if you use Nickel plated waterblocks do not use silver kill coils since they can be borderline dis-similar metals, it's fine to use silver on copper waterblocks however.

The bitspower block will fit but you will have to bend the 2 fan header pins down and break the plastic fan header cover off in order for the block to fit ( this will void the warranty on the card). Also the bitspower block will be shorter on the 970 ACX 2.0+ card because the card is longer and a smich wider then the original 970 ACX 2.0.

Original 970 ACX 2.0 (LxH) 9.5" X 4.37"

970 ACX 2.0+ (LxH) 10.1" X 4.38"
