I/O Locks up

Hi all

 

So with my old rig, when i would wake the pc and sometimes while i was using it, the computer would lock up. So i would lose the keyboard and mouse input but the video on the screen would sometimes keep playing/sometimes lock up too

 

I just built a new rig (not because of this issue) and its doing it again!!! Now it isn't the keyboard/mouse because i recently got a new set of those too.

 

The only thing i kept from my old pc was my 1tb and my ssd, so im guessing it is one of those that is causing the issue?

whats ur specs of the computer 

as per my signature, but specs shouldnt make a difference?

have you tried various USB ports?

 

even the num lock on the keyboard is not responding?

 

also what OS version you are using?

 

is it a fresh install after the rebuild?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
