I am in need of a new gaming mouse, max I can pay is 65 CANADIAN DOLLARS.

Please none of the following brands:

- Razer

- Cheap unreliable brands

- Extensively driver reliant mice (Mice that require drivers to adjust things such as DPI)

If you insist, you can go out of these rules. But if you are going to do that, please at least suggest one that fits in.

Since some people don't know shit about mice (And think that these fancy mice are "gaming" because of the brand) im going to clear some things up:

- No lasers. They suck. Okay, maybe not all. but they aren't that accurate if you ask me.

- I play lots of games. A FPS mouse would probably work pretty well for me (I don't use extra buttons that often, so I don't need a dozen. Maybe two would be fine, that's what I mean here) and they are relatively accurate and universal.

- No mice with acceleration built in, or slight acceleration that can't be turned off easily.

Also no shitseries please, it's a driver reliant mouse. Not only that but my friend had a dozen issues with his that I had to fix. Don't want to have the same problems as him.

And they have accel. I don't like accel.

And that corsair one is a laser.

A hundred dollars. Quick google search did it for me, but then again they go off IP location.

Also I hope I can change dpi and stuff without a driver. Logitech's drivers are annoying as fuck if you ask me.

damn i got mine for like 60 bucks at best buy. i haven't had any issues with Logitech gaming software. im pretty sure you need it to change the dpi settings, but it's pretty easy to use

Drivers are usually a problem because they slow boot times. I don't have a SSD, Don't need one and can't afford one atm.

- Cheap unreliable brands

- Extensively driver reliant mice (Mice that require drivers to adjust things such as DPI)

Majority of all mice that come with DPI switching, you need the drivers to customize the DPI steps. Off the top of my head, the only mice I can think of that are completely driverless would be everything from Zowie.

And what do you mean by "cheap" and "unreliable"? Price of your mouse does not necessarily correlate to quality, otherwise SteelSeries and Razer would be the best mice on the planet.

Personally, the two mice that I can recommend are Zowie EC and Mionix Naos 7000. Own both and they are very good mice. Biggest issue with the Mionix is that their drivers (which you will want to use to set the DPI levels unless you enjoy playing at 4000 dpi) feel kind of shabby.

I own and use, sorted from newest to oldest: SteelSeries 6Gv2. Microsoft SideWinder X4. Mionix Naos 7000. Zowie EC1 Evo. Microsoft SideWinder X8. Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. Dell U2414H. Samsung P2270H. AKG K273 Pro. Sennheiser HD555. Razer Goliathus Speed Medium. Func 1030 L. Qpad CT Medium.

I used to own: Razer DeathAdder 3G. Razer Krait. IntelliMouse Optical 1.1. SteelSeries QcK.

I love my Corsair Raptor M45 optical mouse and would HIGHLY recommend it. It has a 5000 dpi sensor, an adjustable weight system and an the fly sensitivity adjuster with an LED

indicator telling you what setting you have it on. It features a beautifully designed body that fits your hand like an inside-out glove. The scroll wheel is like a chunk of beef that makes

you feel like a real man when using it. The braided cable is a nice inclusion as well. Another thing is the grip on the sides, it feels like a cats tongue (sandpaper) and takes a little while to get used to, but when you do, you really, really appreciate it. No more annoying sweaty hands slipping of your mouse again.

And how much is this thing of glory? Only $60 on amazon with free shipping and a 2 year warranty. http://tinyurl.com/pquc732

I agree on the Corsair Raptor M45.

As a second choice, the SteelSeries Rival. It works without software, but if you are willing to install it, you will unlock the potential of that mouse.

Desktop: Intel Core i3-6100, 8GB RAM, 750GB HDD, GeForce GTX 750 Ti
