New system build. Suggestions ?

Deathdefyer

Hi all.

I am about to take the plunge and build a new rig.

My last build was 2008 and as side from a new upgrade here and there, hdd to ssd, my gt8800 fail after 6 years to a gt630 and a cooler Master 700w modular to a corsair 800 bronze due to failing at a pocket crunch. My baby has done me good but since going to Windows 10 I've noticed a few drawbacks and system failures

I bought the zalman hell fire case last year on recommendation by linus' review video.

It is time to take the plunge.

Component overhaul needed. I would really appreciate your help guys.

I plan on spending £500-£800

I would love to go for i7 cpu and minimum gtx760 to 980 nvidia.

I have always used nvidia cards and yes I am a fan boy although I am not a massive hardcore gamer but more movie/video encoder so performance is key.

I plan to look at DDR4 if a good deal can be had. I want to future proof my build as I have recently had a baby boy and I am due some compensation imminently so I may not get another chance to spend adequate money to make my system... (kids are so expensive!)

Any recomendation/review/advicentre is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Would he want an SSD?? Maybe a hybrid?

Hybrids are a waste of money

How about this? I was thinking that you might wanna salvage the SSD and HDD from the old computer.

But i went with a Black/Red based components for the case you have mention.

If you don't like the layout of this i could go more just straight up for editing components?
