quick question about windows 10 upgrade

i reserved a copy of windows 10, can i still reinstall windows 8.1 with my original key? I have not done the upgrade, just reserved a copy and I have the option to update now.

Energy can not be created nor destroyed, just converted to a different Type of energy.

I was able to re-install 7, but went back to 10 after I got a virus.

When you have upgraded, you also have 1 month time to go back to your old W8.1 install, it's just an option in W10.

I mean when you upgrade it makes a sort of backup from your 8.1 OS and keeps that for a month and you can put it back if you want, well W10 puts it back for you and removes itself sort of.
