Upgrading needs advise

Hi All,

 

My GTX 650 Ti just died and I am planning to upgrade. Here's what left on my system.

 

i3 3220
Gigabyte B75N ITX
2 TB WD Green
8gb 1600 GSkill Ares
520w Seasonic S12ii
Bitfenix Prodigy (ITX)

 

My plan is to move out of the ITX form factor and do mATX instead. So...

  • For the CPU I'm looking at the Intel i5 4960 (locked) or should I go for an FX8320e or FX8350
  • For GPU I'd settle for GTX 950

I do web development and sometimes do some gaming moba, cs go, and planning to play some triple A titles like Witcher 3 on 1080p.

Do not get FX chips get the i5.

The reason I am aiming to move to a new platform is I am not sure if the sole PCI-E slot on my ITX board is still functional.  Although I have tested my video card on a different motherboard and still its not working, giving me the conclusion that the video card is dead.

 

Now I got similar advise from two different place not to shift to haswell just buy a much bertter CPU.  Now I will do this as soon as I confirm that my board is still 100% functional.

 

Anyway here's what I am planning to buy, please let me know if its good or bad
