Could anyone help me with choosing CPU.

Im going to run i5-4460 on the system ( Server VMWare Sphere Hypervisor (ESXi) ) and thats basically it, some fans and HDD´s/SSD´s ( common stuff )

PSU should have kind of low power consumption on idle, so it wouldnt use very much power..

Thank you in advance.

Corsair VS350 would do?

As the system itself will not drain much power.. And running a PSU which constantly runs on 350W isnt maybe the best choice.. It could be good if it would reduce its power consumption. ( PSU )

No, look at my signature and click the "PSU Tiers" link

I'd look at tier 3 PSU's

Corsair CS series starts from 450W, its goin to be pointless imo to have 450W power supply on that build .

any psu from a trustable brand would work, but if you aim for low power consumption, aim for a 80+ silver, gold or platinum

Could you suggest anything?

if you want to go lower than 450, its going to be difficult to get a good quality power supply though, since no big/reliable brand really makes them lower than 450/500... i think seasonic makes in the 300-400 range... but its your decision if you decide to trust these or not... and don't expect 80+ gold.

Seasonic had low wattage units and the Antec Green/Eco series is cheap and good.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
