Problem with double clicking on Deathadder

Go to solution Solved by etze,

There you go, crumbs or debris. Keep it clean and it will work no problem. Unfortunately the design of the buttons makes it prone to get stuff in there.

yeah, thank you sir :D

So, i bought FOUR fucking months ago a razer deathadder chroma and it's been a few days that when i click sometimes it double clicks

I had the first deathadder as well but after 3 years of usage it came up with exactly the same double click problem as this one

but this one, four months only? for a 70$ mouse? ffs razer

at first, i was thinking that 3 years for a 70$ mouse means very bad durability but i decided to risk it again and buy another deathadder since it is feeling so good in my hand

BUT now i'm thinking about changing to another one, probably logitech

i hope warranty covers this and they'll give me a new sealed deathadder. so im thinking about selling it and getting something else. which is the closest logitech mouse to deathadder? shape, weight etc

I'm not sure if it's close enough in shape, but the logitech g402 is an amazing choice (the 502 is even better, but more expensive). I have a g400s and it's pretty much perfect.

Check if crumbs got under the left button, that can cause weird behaviour like that and would explain why it happened twice in a small period of time - do you ever eat at your computer desk?

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I know you set this as answered, but I've had this issue too with my Deathadder Chroma. I contacted support and they sent me a download for a firmware update that fixed my double click issue. Just keep this in mind if it starts happening again.
