Ikea Desk?

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S49001965/#/S69929643

I really want a desk to go in my room, and the only ones I can afford are Ikea desks.  I came across this one which I really like.  It looks nice and is really cheap, but I just have absolutely no idea how strong it is.  Does anybody here have any experience with cheap Ikea, and if so is this a good choice?  If not, what would be a good cheap choice under 100?  I'm looking for something around 6-8 feet wide and about 2-3 feet deep.  Thanks!

Dang so they are strong.  My mom keeps telling me that putting a feather on them will snap it right in half.  If I'm not mistaken, Barnacules, Jay, and Matt Phile all had/have Ikea desks.  This might just be a disagreement that I could win for once :D, even if I do have to pay for the table myself.

I agree I can stand on my Ikea desk and it doesn't bend in the slightest, but I paid like $250 for my Ikea desk, it isn't one of the cheap ones.

I have an older Malm desk (which were like $300AUD when I got it) and they are arguably weaker than that desk, and I'm sitting on this thing (and I weigh 80kg) when it has a 24" computer monitor, a 40" tv, an xbox one and a few laptops on it and its holding steady.

pretty sure both barnacules and jay got random tables, and put them in an L shape. (which honestly, is all you need)

250 dollars is pretty cheap for a desk go look at restoration hardwares desk selection it might change your mind xD

I'm using an IKEA desk I bought this year - I can not for the life of me find the model name - but it was inexpensive and is very sturdy.

They're definitely worth considering - the dark ones imo look very sleek and combine well with custom setups.
