Ducky Shine 4 vs 5?

Go to solution Solved by AnnoyedShelf,

What's the difference between these two? I'm looking to get a red switch version but I'd like to know before I buy if I should wait.

if the additional LED colors really mean a ton to you, you should wait.  If not, just get a Shine 4.

Because it might not even be available for long when it comes out,and I can really only see myself using red or blue leds for my rigs.

Also Ducky 5 has Doubleshot keycaps, which should be more durable.

Over here you can get a single led Ducky for around $150, Shine 4 is $200 and Shine 5 is $230 but sold out (really quiick too).

I personally wouldn't consider the Shine 4 at all - why pay a extra $50 for dual leds when you can pay $80 for full RGB?

Honestly, I think you should go with a Ducky One/Zone/Legend if you are fine with single LEDs or the Shine 5 because "the color makes it different" :D .
