GTX 750 Ti or R7 260X?

hi all,

 

 

 

I am going o be putting together for a friend of mine and am stuck on the graphics card. I don't know whether to go wit the 260X or the 750 Ti. 

 

 

 

please help me decide which one to go with  .

750 Ti is better than 260x. R9 270, R7 370 and R7 265 are better than 750Ti though and if you can find one within your budget, get it.

That depends on your budget and PSU.

Both cards trade blows depending on the game however, the R7 260X consumes 44 more watts and requires atleast 450W and 19A on a single 12v+ rail while the 750 Ti requires atleast 400W and 20A on a single 12v+ rail. At the end of the day I'm siding with the 750 Ti as it has more overclockability potential. However if you can find a 270x or 370 that's not more than 30-60$ USD then go for that instead.
