Final PC Plan Help?

Hey people,

This is my final plan for the pc I was wondering if anybody has any ideas to make it better or I would be thankful if a bit cheaper too. I live in New Zealand so excuse the prices. Id like to save maybe another 100$ USD.

Man parts have a huge mark up in New Zealand, I personally prefer the Gigabyte G1 gaming version of cards which is 1312 free shipping and handling in NZ but that's more of a preference

That would save a lot of money but in reviews ive seen the strix is a bit faster and ill need that for 3 monitors

Oh they do ok didn't know that as the strix and g1 versions tend to be nearly the same fps, though I haven't seen the 980ti strix reviews so I'll go look for myself

the strix is the one with the 3 fans the non strix edition has 2 fans. And the gpu with 2 fans is around the speed of the g1 gaming card I believe

Those prices ... No wonder why you're going all out. Anyway , you could remove that sound card if you dont need it.

Some people say the card is worth it but the speakers are 5.1 and Id like them to be pretty good without that crackling electrical noise

If you plan to OC then the strix's advantage goes away, if you don't then it has a 26 Hz advantage so without OC it does preform better, when overclocking its luck of the draw which card will preform better due to factory variances.

I dont plan on overclocking unless I need it. For any of my parts

Your motherboard has pretty good audio on it own as its on a segregated part of the board with good quality capacitors so you probably won't need it, but really given the overall price 60 bucks for a sound card really won't lower the price noticeably so I really can't see any changes that aren't a compromise

Sounds like a plan, but as I said their isn't much to change as your getting the best bang for your buck I can see given your needs, to bad things cost so much more there.

like 50usd so I could just buy the soundcard for that

1. gigabyte board sux for overclocking. no adaptive mode. get asus, msi or asrock

ssd sucks. go 850 evo

psu is overkill. 650w is enuf

get rid of silly child fans

get gaming monitor. 1ms 144 hertz minimum

keyboard too expensive
