Leave bluetooth speaker charged?

So I have a Bose Soundlink Colour, I bring it around sometimes but most of the time it would just sit on the bedside table, I use it mostly more like a wifi speaker (just sit in one place) rather than a bluetooth speaker (carry around). So just wondering if it bad to just leave the power cable connected?
