I am planning my first build. == http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DbCs4D

I just want to make sure I'm all good to go.

If there are any corrections or suggestions I'd be happy to hear them, but nothing that dramatically changes the build.

I want to stick with the i5 4460

I already have a couple hard drives so all I need is a os SSD.

I was also wondering about the wifi adapter. is there a better one I can get for around 20-30 USD?

Also, is my PSU choice good or is there a better one for about 60 dollars?

Thanks for any help or tips you can give!

This is one of the most flawless builds I've ever seen for the price. Go for it man, everything seems good! Don't listen to anyone who tells you to get a 960.

Edit: Build above is p good, but @themaniac are Antec PSUs any good?

yeah they are good, and they are made by delta, and if you factor in there price then they immediately turn into amazing

So your budget is around 1000 dollars?

I would look into a couple of tweaks.

I would investigate some different SSD's, like Samsung or a different company.  I've seen SSD deals pop up that can save you a LOT of money.  Also I have seen 250gb SSD's for the same price.

You should be fine with a 500W PSU unless you plan on adding another GPU or something, but that would only save you like 10 dollars so it might not matter too much.

Also you could look into some "different ways" to get an operating system (if you are catching my drift)

Before you buy the RAM, see if there are any current sales for some 16gb kits.  I know a G.Skill Ripjaw 16gb kit sale just ended that was going for 70 bucks (a good deal)

And I don't know your situation on monitors, like if you have some laying around or not, but the monitor you picked is pretty good for the price.

And my last suggestion is that all money you save go to your GPU if you can get a more powerful model.  I usually don't like builds where the CPU is in a similar price bracket to the GPU, but i5's are good to have to future upgrades.

Even without my tweaks its still a boss ass build, nj
