Hello,

I have experienced an issue today with my wifi.

at college the wifi does not work on mobile phones so to get around this I use wireless wifi sharing on my macbook pro.

but today on my android phone (4.2) i keep getting an authentication error.

It tries to connect with full bars of signal then the signal drops to one then i get the error.

It was working fine yesterday.

This issue is one of the hardest problems to resolve on android that i have ever encountered. When this happens to me, which is very infrequent, i either set a static IP or delete the previous wifi setup on the android and make a new one, only one other fix that i have found is to do a factory reset of your android version, nothing else seems to work.

I found changing the wifi channel my laptop makes helps
