I have 2 questions

Q1) Logitech G27 vs G29

I really want a gear shifter but I don't want to spend extra on it if I get the G29

Is the G29's Vibration feedback and other features more natural feeling than g27 ?

Even if it is, is the extra cost worth it ?

Q2) Game Controllers

I am not comfortable with gaming on a Keyboard and Mouse. I prefer a controller. That said I do have an ordinary membrane keyboard that works perfect and a regular mouse.

I was using Playstation 2 when I started gaming and currently use a PS3 (I am upgrading to a PC soon)

I love the lightweight Dualshock 2 and Dualshock 3 and the DualShock 4 is also light enough for me

I hate the heavy Xbox controllers both the 360 and ONE

So next question

Should I reuse my Dualshock 3 on PC(I have done it on my old WIN 7 PC and it worked)

or Should I get the Dualshock 4?(I will use DS4 tool)

Will WIN 10 classify it as unofficial peripheral and reject it?

Thanks

SCP Server lets you use a duelshock 3 on windows. I have 10 and it works fine. I can swap which controller is which player, check battery, rumblers work, and it emulates an XBOX  controller.

Get the DS4 if you prefer PS controllers. It's more comfortable than the classic dualshock design, and with DS4Windows/InputMapper, the touchpad is pretty handy to have (the controller is essentially a remote for your PC). Also, it's plug and play; Windows detects it right away through USB or bluetooth as "Wireless Controller" (wish it just said Dualshock 4, but oh well).

Also, there's games that natively support the DS4 without emulating an Xbox controller, and it works just as it would on a PS4. One I can think of right away is Farcry 4.

yup. Dueshock 3. found a couple controllers at a PC store for like 10 bucks. Battery didnt work, I just bodged in the batteries from my old cell phones and they work a treat! I use them to play rocket league. Because the program makes the OS think that its an XBOX controller, nearly everything works with it.

What games do you play?  Many games are fine with a controller.  I use an Xbox 360 controller sometimes, which I love, but since you wanna go the Sony route, I can't say much about that.  But, then many games work great with kb/mouse and having a good set up as far as those are concerned makes the experience better.  Competitive games call for kb/mouse, especially fps games.  I don't know much about wheels, but I am interested in responses.  Those things are pricey.

I own one controller because I found a 360 on the side of the street (damn thing works too) but I dont have the USB receiver for it to work on PC. Meanwhile the duelshock 3 controllers can just use a standard USB cable.

I find XB controllers heavy as I mentioned in the post. Also I am a long term PS fanboy. But now I am a PC gaming fan waiting to upgrade to a powerful PC. I am not comfortable with a keyboard and mouse. I am comfortable with light controllers like Dualshock at less than 250 grams

I mainly play GTA V, Tomb Raider, NFS and Assassins creed. Will get into more games soon

I really dont mind the weight, as the cable for my dualshock is like not even 12 inches and its always under tension. so using a wireless controller that weighs more wouldnt bother me

For the games you play a controller is fine, especially if you aren't comfortable with a kb/mouse.  Its worth practicing and learning though.  I moved from an consoles to PC gaming several years ago and once I got used to the difference, I absolutely love kb/mouse over a controller for everything but driving games and console emulators.  Just my 2c.
