Hey forum. So i finally finished my loop completely and the temps are nice so i went to OC my CPU on my maximus V gene and i'm using offset voltage. I set the turbo frequency to 43 and sure enough when under stress the CPU would turbo up to 4.3 and the voltage would adjust accordingly. However, I went to raise the frequency since i already know my chip can get higher than 4.3 but when i set the turbo frequency to 4.4 it still only turbos to 4.3. I've gone back into the UEFI like 6 times and made sure it was set to 44 and it still just keeps turboing up to 4.3 why is that?

Some Asus boards don't like it when you overclock and have the turbo enabled. The R4E disables Turbo Boost when you overclock to more than 4,4 GHz. Try and disable Turbo boost and see what happens.

Edit: I meant you should try and dial in you overclock as a straight overclock insted of a Turbo Boost overclock

Still the same issue. Any other ideas?

Hmm, Did you set the AI overclock Tuner to manuel? Also try and disable the offset voltage and just dial in a voltage. Maybe set the LLC to a higher value

Turn off turbo, and just OC to your desired freq.

Ok, try to Clear CMOS, then try to OC again. If it didnt work try to flash latest BIOS version.
