best 4k config

I am looking to get some gtx900 series or titan x cards for 4k gaming. The only reason i would go titan x is for a single card vs 2 but I cant really tell if a single titan can run 4k at native res on ultra or should i just opt for two 900 series cards to push the pixels.

I've got 980ti's in SLI and run everything 60FPS 4K. One card isn't enough and Titan X is shit for money compared to the 980ti.

 

Get two 980ti's.

Hey ppolicher, I'd go for 2 gtx 980ti's, they can run most games at 4k60fps when overclocked. If on a tighter budget go for just one 980ti, or maybe r9 fury's. Here's a video of overclocked 980 ti in sli peformance

well i am still saving atm to do one giant upgrade of my setup but i will go 980ti sli.,...gonna save up some more so i can get the 980ti msi lightning cards.

The GeForce GTX 980 Ti or the Radeon R9 Fury X can both do a pretty solid job at 4K... if you want to run everything maxed out at 4K though one card isn't gonna be enough (excluding dual GPU cards).

I say any CPU that can handle atliest 60fps in most games and two Fury Xs or two 980Tis! :3

I agree I have 2 980tis also and I'm 60fps in all games ultra apart from witcher which I have to drop shadows to medium but I still have hair works on

Some reason I get dips to 40 with vsync on no matter what I do
