1080 or 1440p

Go to solution Solved by CH-Nils,

so unfortunately i can't upscale from my 1600x1200 monitor to anything higher than 1080p... somehow won't allow it

But seeing how LoL runs with 60 fps on highest 4k settings i'm gonna go for it

What fps will i get at 1440p ?

Around 40-60 fps.

i usually dont notice ive i have SLI disabled in games like BF4, arma 3, witcher 3 or gta 5, so playing those A/AA looking games it shouldnt be a problem whatsoever.

Here have a look. There are a few benchmarks for the GTX 970 on 1080, 1440 and 2160p.

So on 1440p i can expect roughly 45 fps on ultra and on 4k 30?

it's still quite good but it will require me to OC my gtx 970 to hell and back :P

My asic score is 67% and so far i have + 150 mhz Cpu clock and +200 mhz Memory

Just saw a video of somebody playing LoL on 4k with 60fps on a single 970... guess 4k it is :)

else i can always render in 1080p and upscale no? Do you get performance loss when doing that ?

hi people

Dis mah Rig https://pcpartpicker.com/b/RZyfrH

do you think it can handle 1440p? I play mostly Starconflict, LoL, some Space engineer

In LoL you should EASILY be able to push 1440p maxed out with more than 60FPS, this card is able to max out the newest AAA titles at 1440p at 30FPS.

you need performarmance for the rendering, scaling is free.

you got the PC with a lower res monitor already, right? go into nvidia control panel and make costum 1440p (2560x1440) and 4K (3840x2160) resolutions and try running the games, then you can see exactly what performance you can get.
