I was wondering if I could mount a H80i GT, in my Corsair 300R, like this:

Yeah that's not really a problem having it front mounted sideways, if you can rear as exhaust is also a good choice.

He used an H80:

theres really no point in the extra sp120 considering theres a fan right in front of it

I dunno if the AF140 is a good fan for a radiator...

it does not really matter because you have the other sp120 its just kind of redundant and you really dont need a push pull config on a small cpu radiator anyway unless your overclocking the crap out of it or its an amd cpu

Don't stack different fans together, the SP120 are pressure oriented fans and will work with the rad in push/pull setup you have drawn up there.

This. Plus, stacking different fans like that tends to cause turbulence between fans which is not very effective when dissipating heat from the radiator.

@JohnManuel, why not just mount it in the rear? just curious

Purely aesthetic, I don't like seeing the radiator/fan so close to the CPU block. Though I probably am going to end up mounting it in the rear.
