Hello guys first time poster here.

I am changing all my components to a corsair air 540 (love the case) and was wondering if theres a specific cpu (liquid) cooler you guys recommend for a fx 8350? Right now i have an evo 212 which ill be giving to a friend. Theres just too many options (kraken,h80,h60,h100,etc..). I plan to overclock a bit.

Thanks in advance.

H100i or H220 if you can get one.

H220 being the better and more expensive version.

There is also the "water 3.0" which is quite good if you don't like the H100i.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.

No love for the NH-D14?

The Kraken is a good cooler--quieter than the Corsair Hydro series.

I'd assume the D14 would get more attention if it wasn't the liquid cooling forum XP

the bold highlights are the key symptoms, and the cure is better than single fan

cooling solutions (as you have already tried). any of the dual 120/140 liquid

systems will do a fair amount of thermal control for the average 4.5-4.8 overclock.

depending on location and budget there is a wide-gambit of brands and looks to

choose from. since you are already using Corsair, i'd suggest the H100i or H110,

for aesthetics the H100i.

Anything with a Noctua fan or a custom loop.

The Scythe Genthle Typhoons are better rads fans for everything but low RPMs.
