The performance gain after you hit a certain point does not justify the price. For example, going from a 4670K & GTX 780 to something like 3970x & GTX 780 SLI. At that point you are already playing at 60+ FPS in almost all games if you can resist MSAA.

So why do you want to waste money?

 i dont know..

Your parents must be really mad at you. Sure, it's awesome to have an insane gaming rig. But what is the point if you can't afford to buy a nice monitor, a nice keyboard, a nice mouse & mousepad? How will you afford to buy your games?

Or are you going to spend all you have on a PC and not be able to buy ANYTHING else for a while?

What's the point of a beast rig if you are going to play BO2?

They will find out. And if you are going to play BF4. Create a rig for just that. And save money.

It is not impossible but as new more demanding games come out you'll have to compromise by reducing the graphics settings, my brother was running the same system for 6 years (due to lack of employment like me) with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 and a GeForce GTX 260 and run perfectly fine.

You get a Core i5-3570K/4670K and a GTX 770 <insert AMD equivilent> and you'll be good, take a step back and have a little think for a little while.
