Encrypting the Verizon G3

I am trying to encrypt my Verizon G3 (VS985) on the Resurrection Remix rom. When I hit encrypt it reboots, shows the android logo, and then boots to system and hangs on finishing boot. I am not sure what is happening so any help here would be appreciated. Thanks

Probably just a bug tbh. Give it up to 5 minutes to boot, and if it still doesn't, you'll have to reinstall Remix OS. If it still continues to not boot after applying encryption, install a different ROM and try encrypting it again. I have the Verizon G3 as well, and honestly, the most stable ROM I have come across is CyanogenMod.

Also, how come you want to encrypt your entire phone? One of the main features of having root is the ability to backup your entire system with data. If you encrypt your phone, then you won't be able to do that, because well, it's encrypted...
