I am looking to become one with the master race and build a pc.

^^parts lists

I would like to not spend much more than $800, and less would be awesome.

Looking at 1080p games on high/ultra

Mobo- it fit in my budget and it matches the color scheme so I said why not? Considering its not too much more than the $80 board I had before.

Red and black color scheme because its cheaper than green and black.

Please give any recommendations, they would be awesome!! Happy with any and all responses.

swap out the RAM for HyperX

Why would he do that when what he has is fine? Ram is ram. G.SKILL is a reputable company also.

I believe this would be better and it almost fits the budget, worth adding these 30$ imho, even if the mobo doesn't necessarily fit the black/red design, it's a pretty damn good deal.:

That you can use NFC devices with it wirelessly, really don't bother with that. The Z87 + Xeon would be a better choice, there's not really much upgrade path from the xeon. Best you can get is the i7-4790k but the only difference is the option of overclocking.

Best R9 390s are Sapphire and MSI. Choose whichever you like more/ costs less

Why'd you change the power supply? The one you had was great. That looks good but you don't need a Z87 motherboard get a H97 or H87 and you should be good.

I changed it psu because someone said the nex was bad

Also what are your thoughts on the xeon I don't really plan on any heavy editing or steaming so would getting the 4460 and a better mobo be a better choice? In my mind it seems like a better option
