stay away from corsair cx psus, get yourself a seasonic or evga

and i would recommend going intel, amd is a dead end and if you ever want to upgrade in the future you will be kinda stuck and need to get a whole new mobo and possibly ram as well

if you give us a budget and location we might be able to help you put something together

well fx processors have no place in a gaming build these days. If you have the budget, pick up a marked down haswell i5 (you can join the 4460 masterrace) and a cheap h81 for a good price. Hell even an i3 4150 would get better fps than an 8300. Unless you need the cores (video editing, encoding, adobe premier) then an i3 will provide a better experience.

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

Yeah, let us know your budget cause I'd like to switch some stuff, the CX series corsair PSU is crap, the 8300 is not worth it, 8320/8320E minimum. And as for the R9 380, if you can find a 280X for the same price then get the 280X. Also, I would recommend at least a 600W PSU for overclocking these parts.

only time i ever go for AMD CPUs these days is either a server rig or workstation where 8 cores is actually usefull, or if the CPU budget is so low that getting a Pentium is inferior to the fx-6300. R9 380/280x are the best "bang for your buck" cards out there these days. PSU sucks, as has been said. For a fx-83x0 CPU, go for FX990, not a 970 chipset. And again, an overall budget would be helpful.

yes, i know its not worth Z97 on a locked CPU, but its a good, relatively low priced board from a manufacturer i trust, and allows for a good upgrade path.

go for a cheaper cooler and a Z97 board, a H55 liquid cooler or the 212 EVO are great.

I have that CPU at 4.5 on a Gigabyte Z97-HD3 on the EVO, NEVER breaks 60 c

yes, i know its not worth Z97 on a locked CPU, but its a good, relatively low priced board from a manufacturer i trust, and allows for a good upgrade path.

i'm not sure but my guess do to most of my parts from newegg and amazon probably 25-100USD

For $30, good luck finding anything better than an 8.7 from the guys who take off full points for being "average" quality

only time i ever go for AMD CPUs these days is either a server rig or workstation where 8 cores is actually usefull, or if the CPU budget is so low that getting a Pentium is inferior to the fx-6300. R9 380/280x are the best "bang for your buck" cards out there these days. PSU sucks, as has been said. For a fx-83x0 CPU, go for FX990, not a 970 chipset. And again, an overall budget would be helpful.

I would get a better PSU but apart from that this is a good build

Do u guys know where can i get these prices in UAE? it would be a lot helpful, ill get the i5 build !!
