Hey I'm build a new Rig for my GF and want some opinions from you guys.

At the Moment it looks like this:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6krK99

This like is just for people from Europe ;)

 http://geizhals.at/eu/?cat=WL-576113&wlkey=32fcd5515db3635468ad6a844c4465ed

She still has an GTX 760 from her current Rig and a nice 550 W PSU.

So there is no need to buy that new as well.

Thanks guys!

Budget? Do you have any DDR3 RAM sticks from her previous build left? Hard drives?
Also, where are you from exactly?

Does she already have a HDD from her previous build? if not, I'd get one, 120gb is not enough for gaming, moreover when some games are 60gb

Case: NZXT phantom CPU:I5-4460 GPU:MSI-GTX1070 Gaming X RAM:2x4Gb-DDR3-HyperX fury MOBO:Asus Z97-P HDD:Toshiba 1Tb 7200rpm PSU:Sentey650W

LOL you can't use ddr3 on a skylake mobo

Yes, 120GB is not nearly enough storage. Also Skylake isnt worth it. Also you cant use DDR3 memory on a Skylake motherboard.

First of all, of course you can, you just don't know that. ASUS has provided such motherboards already for example. And I'm talking about regular DDR3 not this weird DDR3L.

Secondly, I asked for it cause Skylake might not be necessarily worth it. An i5-4690k or a Xeon E3-1231v3 would be just as good and the RAM sticks could be transferred.

Yeah I know, I just quoted you so you'd know that now, the direct message was to the dude that said quote: "LOL you can't use ddr3 on a skylake mobo" ^^ It's good to learn new stuff  so...

There is no real Budget, and no her current Rig still has DDR2 memory. ;)

I'm have a 1230v3 in my Rig but i think if you build a new one now why don't get the new stuff?

She is running a Athlon II x4 945 atm, so everything is a big upgrade!

I have 3 HDD's (1 TB each or so) on hand so there is no problem on storage.

And im from Austria. And jeah we ride Kanguru's all day long :D

yes, skylake is compatible with DDR3, just can't use the same mobo

Yes, they have made ddr3 compatible mobos, but if he wants DDR4, he will have to get a new mobo AND ddr4, he might as well if hes buying a new mobo, and he can sell the ram on amazon, ebay, or craigslist.

I5 4460 | Sapphire R7 265 | 8gb DDR3
