a 780 will be better, as you can overclock that, plus, scaling has to do with the driver AND the game, so you can have problems, example, BF3 has excellent scaling, not too many other games that I know of do

sell 670 and get 780

This^

The 780 can hold it's own in almost any gaming situation, and a single card solution is always better to be future proof.

Depends your budget and gaming type. The Razer Naga tracks amazingly, and is super comfortable (at least for me), but is for MMO use. The Deathadder 2013 is really nice as well. And all the reference 780s are the same, it's just the customer service you will be receiving if something goes wrong. I personally like the EVGA 780s with the ACX cooler

Either get another 670 and SLI or go 780.  Honestly, most games now days except planeside 2 and wow scale about 60% or better and I don't see this changing much in the future negatively anyway.  2GB of Vram per die is plenty for 1080p gaming, the extra horse power will be nice.  Remember, to achieve 60 fps, each GPU has to render 30 of the frames, so if you get around 30 FPS with 1 GPU depending on the scaling you should get close to double.

id say push for the 780......its a nice big jump from a single 670.....or you could equally save your money and go for another 670 which is still a very good option...sli has proven to be a great option for many people...
