I'm folding on a GTX 460, and after a while my gpu usage starts to do this, why?

-snip-

That is bizarre but I'm gonna say it's because the 460 is an older card and the folding servers can be packed so it could mean a higher bandwidth and that may be stressing your card to the max.

Are you sure the gpu is stable? any overclocks? you practically got a seismograph going there..

Are you sure it's not throttling/overheating? It seems to be hovering around 90*c, not particularly

nice.

Load does vary abit.. and you can have drops when making checkpoints and such, but your graph

is just one big mess.

I stopped folding, but I'll pick it up again later tonight and update you. Yeah I had a bit of an overclock, and I backed it down a bit now, we'll see how if fares later.
