cable extensions

There will be a small drop in the power delivered, but it's a negligible difference. The only problems I have had with extension cables are if they are really cheap they tend to noot fit probably and there for not making proper contact.

There's a minor decrease in power delivery but it's nothing to worry about it; unless you're using 10 metre extensions or something (lol, i'm so funny). Only real disadvantage I can think of is longer cables which lead to harder cable management, and the cables from your PSU are going to be different (if that even bothers you).
