I am in the need for a new mouse. As the title suggests it has to be wireless given the way my desk is setup. I really like the shape and feel of the Logitech M310 so something like that would be great. I hold the mouse with a palm grip while gaming and with my fingertips when not gaming. I don't care much about color or lights other than that the mouse has to be black and if there is lighting it would need to be either RGB, blue, or white. I also want the scroll wheel to have a sort of click when I scroll. I don't have a budget but try to keep the price down.

The Logitech M705 or M510, I've used and enjoyed both, although I like the M705 better due to it having hyper scrolling, but the M510 was a bit bigger (and thus a bit more comfortable).

You don't have problems with left/right movement translating to turns with the M705 and M510 using that grip? I read a ton of complaints on the Logitech forums about that when using a palm grip due to the laser sensor being off-center in both. Do you like to use both for gaming?

I didn't really have any issues gaming with either, although I didn't really use the M510 for more twitchy games.

logitech m705 or g602

I might go with the g602 because I can deal with its shape and I found it for cheap at a local store. Do you have the g602 and are you happy with it? Do the buttons get in the way if I grab it with my fingertips? Are the sides rubberized?

although i personally don't own a g602, i have tried it at bestbuy numerous times for shits and giggles haha. it is comfortable from what i've used even though there isn't rubber padding on the sides except for the base of the mouse for the sensor. the buttons are small, but from what i hear, they are in an awkward position. you will probably get used to them sooner or later my information is very little based on me only using it when i occasionally go to bestbuy, which is very rare. but i definitely know it is a decent mouse. i suggest asking your local store to see if you would be able to hold it, even though it might sound a bit odd x].

good luck!

I ended up buying the Logitech M510 since Wal-Mart had it dirt cheap ($22.14), fired up Far Cry 3, and it was unusable for me using the palm grip. Left translated to West-Northwest instead of West and right translated to East-Southeast. Sucks because I absolutely love the ergonomics of it but why make a big mouse that can't be used well with the palm grip? Just returned it and got a Logitech G602, and the 602 is pretty nice both in desktop and gaming use.

It feels nice if you like a larger mouse, which I do. It's not rubberized but the finish on the sides feels great. I don't use any of the extra side buttons, it's way too many for my taste, but the response is great and I can hold it with a palm grip and still get correct movement in games, unlike a lot of other mice that have the sensor offset to one side. I personally don't like all the extra side buttons and would have paid $10 more to have those six side buttons replaced by two simple forward and backward buttons since the only buttons I ever use in fps games are left for shoot, center for grenade, right for aim down sight. I guess it they come in handy for choosing weapons though if I ever get used to all the buttons.
