So I have a Corsair H2100 headset that I'm trying to get to work. The computer is a Dell Latitude D820, with all of the latest drivers on it. The issues is that when I open up the audio settings I cant change any of the volumes without going into properties of the device and opening the mixer. This also means that the volume control on the side of the headset dosent do anything. I also tried restarting the HID service to see if that helps, but nothing has seemed to fix this issues. Below is a picture of the issue.

Use the default windows os thingamajig.

Then check if windows Xu supports this, because I think manual external audio adjustment was a vista thing.

windows XP is old.

Think about updating or replacing.

Ive got a gaming rig running 10, this is just for web browsing on the go. I would upgrade but the drivers only support up to Vista

Most Vista drivers work for windows 7.

I would go to linux since viruses and not much of a thing for linux.

This is the defualt sound menu. According to this article I should be able to do at least adjust the volume settings

Unfortunately that's out of the question, as their is some windows only software I have to keep on this laptop for the local BSA troop
