so i started a topic like this a little while ago and never got a clear cut answer so i decided to start a new one with much more detail so no questions have to be asked later. im building a new pc to take with me when i leave home like to a lan, a friends house etc. im looking to into graphic cards and dont wanna spend alot on them no more 200usd preferably around 140 though so i can get 8 gigs of memory i was looking into the 650ti boost, 7770,7850,and 660 which would be best for playing skyrim at 1080 at around med to high and bf3 1080 on low to med those are my most played games

its GE (pause) TechNicks

Get the 7850.

In terms of performance:

7850>660>650 Ti Boost>7770

You should be able to play skyim and BF3 at high/ultra at pretty decent framerates granted you don't max out the filter settings.

Well newegg had a 7950 for $180 yesterday, but that sold out. I would try to get a 7870 I see them fall in the $170 range often enough.

In what planet is the 7850 better than the GTX 660 ?

For the topic:

For around $190 you can find the hd 7870 which would be the better choice.

But if you want to spend around $140 go for the hd 7850 1gb

The 7850 overclocks better.
