I have some problems under-clocking?

I tried under-clocking my CPU to get lower temps. These are the setting that seems to be stable but still offer decent performance.

And this  works fine in AMD overdrive but as soon as i wan't to apply that in the Bios it stops working. The PC just gets stuck on windows logo and you have to restart the bios. What' exactly am i doing wrong. BTW in the Bios it is not exactly 1V but you can get pretty close. 

Specs: AMD FX 6300 @ 4ghz, Asus R9 270 OC, 8gb Corsair xms3, Cooler Master GX 550w PSU, WD 500 blue, Gigabyte  GA-970A-DS3

WHy the hell would you want to underclock? seriously if your computer hasnt shut down because of thermal problems then i think you should not bother

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

It did, that's why. AMD coolers are made out of literal shit.

1.0V on the Cpu is obviously not stable at 2.5ghz if it wont boot windows

 

add more core voltage and always stress test to validate you underclock

ok I gotta be honest, underclocking is not a good idea. I know some people like to, but it just isn't. For one the base clock does not like to ramped down, your CPU does not want to run slower than its supposed to. But if you are going to do it, you need to readjust you FBS and your ram clock, ram clock is easy ram will run at whatever you tell it to without an issue usually. Adjusting your CPU and your FBS can also effect your add in cards, especially if you have an overclocked graphics card. What you should do is set a throttle to slow the CPU based on its temperature. 

I had the same issue, but went with an AIO liquid cooler for my CPU, works like a dream, and i got one i can use on my next CPU so I can reuse it, I would suggest the same if you go that route, i went with ThermaleTake water 3.0 ultimate. 

Troubleshooting a pc will make you believe in gremlins.
