I am running at 1080p and everytime I choose 1080p 59hertz it resets it to 1080p 50hertz. I can definitely feel the lag while using vsync so I was wondering how to fix that.

there's a better way to limit it to 60 fps, try setting the fps to 60 in rivatuner.

for all applications or can I do it for specific games. And why is it better than vsync? Can I cap it to 65 fps?

because Vsync dips to 30 when your frame gets below 59. yes you can set 65 fps to any specific game you want. this way your FPS wont dip to 30 and it wont go above 65.

When I cap the FPS using rivatuner I get very bad stutters
