Planning buying Ram..

so ive been looking around for ram to buy i know what mhz (1866) i need and what size i want. (8gb x2 )

but ive come across things like Non-ECC and ECC and unb

do i need to buy ram that is ecc or non ecc or does it not matter ?

and what is unb?

ECC registered RAM is for servers. You most likely don't even have a mobo that supports it. It doesn't really matter if it's ECC or not, but I think ECC RAM is more expensive. Just buy a kit from Crucial or Kingston, their is the cheapest and it's very good.

EDIT: Unb is probably unbuffered, which means unregistered.

Can you hold of until black friday sales? Mostly likely going to be cheapest around then. I know on amazon in the uk, the ram prices have been dropping for both ddr3 and ddr4.
